This is a video of the workshop which we ran at Burcott Residential Home in Bromsgrove.We ran a drumming circle for everyone at the home, an activity which was enjoyed by all.
We ran a series of workshops at a youth club in Stoke Prior Bromsgrove over a period of six weeks, within these workshops the young people participated in drumming circles, DJ sessions and lyric writing/song recording activities. We spent a week at Hutton Hall in Birmingham working with victims of crime. Attendance was steady all week until the last few days when loads of people participated. We had a number of workshops all week, including; Drumming, DJing, Arts and Crafts, we also ran our new drama workshops which went very well.
A grant from PAYP (positive activities for young people) enabled Talking Drums to work with a group of young people in Kings Norton. The workshops included drumming, graffiti, art, lyric writing, and CD production.

A grant from PAYP (positive activities for young people) enabled Talking Drums to facilitate a workshop week held at Northfield YMCA, during the week we ran a number of DJ, Dance, graffiti, group discussion and drumming workshops which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who took part.
A grant from Grass Roots (Worcestershire) enabled Talking Drums to facilitate workshops for adults with learning difficulties in Redditch.
The workshop included drumming circles, dancing, DJing, lyric writing, and making a CD.
Jackie Smith enjoyed drumming with us at cool by the pool in 2009. A grant from Reddtich borough council enabled us to work in partnership with Batchley Support Group. A good day was had by all.

Talking Drums facilitated a drumming workshop at Kingsley College in partnership with Indigo Arts. Everybody interacted and enjoyed themselves.
Talking Drums secured a grant from Councilor Andy Fry which enabled us to hold a night of drumming, dance, and song. It is a great example of the DJ workshops we provide. In this workshop some of the young people rapped over the top of a DJ mix that’s was put together by their school mates. Young people performed in an open mic competition.

Talking Drums facilitated drumming workshops and participated in a show at the Custard Factory as part of the ‘Arts All Over The Place’ workshops which were facilitated by the NHS – Mental Health Team.
